This record is the Queenstown Commissioners meeting (work session at 5:00 PM; regular meeting called at 6:26 PM) on May 27, 2026. In the work session commissioners reviewed draft Public Works Agreements for Wheatland’s Development and agreed on changes; Assistant Town Attorney Jen Dindinger will incorporate the agreed edits into a new draft for the next meeting and will also review the Waterman commercial development agreement. Key infrastructure items: Retallack requested a 10% paving price increase on the I&I project (roughly $13,000); commissioners agreed to wait 60 days for prices to fall before proceeding; the State Engineer found the EJCDC E-500 engineering agreement for the Water Tank & Infrastructure Project unsuitable and returned comments to Rauch for correction. Other updates: hydrant flushing and treatment membranes are operating without current issues (six-month inspection pending), federal channel dredging is still awaiting a USACE permit, Planning Commission will meet new golf course owners on 6/13, and finance and code enforcement topics continue (budget work, possible expansion of zoning inspector duties). Policy items including ADU revisions and §95 table changes were deferred for further review; MDIA inspections for long-term rentals were discussed with sample lists to be reviewed; commissioners declined to move a resident’s mailboxes and suggested coordinating with the Post Office, and President Hardee raised a security/gating request for the landing/plant entrance due to illegal overnight parking (Sheriff and cameras referenced). The board approved the May 13 regular and closed-session minutes (3-0) and adjourned at 7:27 PM.
