These are the minutes of the Queenstown Town Commissioners regular meeting on February 11, 2026 (called to order at 4:00 PM) attended by President Al Hardee, Commissioner Bryon Callahan, Town Manager Amy Moore, Town Clerk Aaron Horney, and Town Attorney Assistant Jen Dindinger. Commissioners received committee updates (Public Works: plant operator cleaning membranes and ditches to be assessed, especially the R&D ditch; Planning Commission: approved a site plan for a new house at Lot 2, 104 Wall St. and proposed revisions to the Zoning Ordinance table of height/area/bulk; Events: information about the American Discovery Trail 250 Relay passing through town). The Treasurer/Finance report listed fund balances (General Fund $131,952.55; WS Fund $10,583.10; ARPA Fund $394,449.19), the board approved multiple sets of minutes and reappointed all current Board of Appeals members to new terms through February 2026 (all votes recorded 2-0). Updates on infrastructure and policy included Retallack back on site for the I&I project; Rauch applied to MDE for $8,090,680 in funding for the Water Tank & Infrastructure Project; a draft ADU ordinance has been prepared to comply with MD House Bill 1466 and an amendment to solar rules (Ordinance No. 25-06) has a public hearing rescheduled for February 25, 2026.
