The Queenstown Town Commissioners met on September 24, 2025 at 6:00 PM (President Al Hardee, Commissioners Tom Willis and Bryon Callatran, Town Manager Amy Moore, and Attorney Jennifer Dindinger were present). Staff updates noted Public Works compiled bulk-collection data and scheduled a work session for October 15, wastewater plant work is ongoing with membranes expected to ship in early October and a meeting planned with contractor George Smith, and the FY25 audit and highway user revenue report are in progress. The Town Manager said the town’s 1995 investment policy must be updated and reported on hiring outreach and holiday decorating plans with the County Garden Club. In old business a preconstruction meeting for the I&I project was held; the town will file a SHA utility permit, Retallack will provide a traffic control plan and a detailed work schedule and resident notices, and work was estimated to begin mid-October and take about a month. Other recurring items on the agenda included water tank/infrastructure and harbor water issues, federal channel dredging, and water/sewer code and rate study items without substantive updates at this meeting.
