These are the agenda and minutes for the Queenstown Commissioners meeting on June 18, 2025. The meeting opened with a public hearing on Ordinance 25-04, the proposed FY2026 general budget and tax rates (real property $0.2312 per $100, commercial/personal property $0.58 per $100, public utilities $2.50 per $100) and an 8% increase to monthly water and sewer consumption rates; the public hearing was closed at 6:06 p.m. Public Works reported a regional bulk-collection survey for future regulations, repair and recurring faulting of the Kohler generator (insurance claim denied as wear-and-tear), completion of a sewer video inspection that found some cracks but no major issues, and initial work and surveying needs to clean up the Old Wharf area and install riprap. Finance/Town Clerk reported fund balances (General $135,837.85; W/S $169,881.08; ARPA $592,036.57) and the board approved minutes for May 14, May 28 and June 3 with recorded votes and abstentions. The Town Manager mentioned a possible joint COG session with Kent County on shared items (solar, water/wastewater design, housing), and office closures for Juneteenth and upcoming conferences.
