The Queenstown Commissioners held a work session on June 3, 2025 (called to order at 4:02 p.m. and adjourned at 4:39 p.m.) to review the draft FY26 budget with town staff and the Finance Committee. The Commissioners voted unanimously (3-0) to accept the draft budget and to introduce Ordinance 25-04, which would adopt the FY26 general budget, set a real property tax rate of $0.2312 per $100, a commercial/business personal property tax rate of $0.58 per $100, a public utilities tax rate of $2.50 per $100, and adopt the water and sewer enterprise budget including an 8% increase to monthly water and sewer consumption rates. A public hearing on the proposed ordinance is scheduled for June 18, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.; the regular June meeting was moved to follow that hearing instead of June 11, and there will be no meeting on June 25 due to staff attending the MML conference. Present at the work session were President Al Hardee, Commissioners Tom Willis and Bryon Callahan, Town Manager Amy Moore, Town Clerk Aaron Horney, and Finance Chair Pat Bowell.
