This is the April 9, 2025 Queenstown Commissioners meeting (work session at 3:00 canceled; regular meeting at 4:00). Town engineer Robert Rauch reported the Water/Sewer Rate Study is more complex than expected, estimated current revenue $649,000 vs. expenses $959,920 (assumes ~10% expense increase) and recommended a follow-up work session on April 11 at 2:00 to discuss possible increases to debt service fees and consumption rates; Wheatlands revenue timing will also factor into the study. Public Works reported grease buildup at the Outlets pump station (restaurants contacted; operator to raise levels for manual removal), a WWTP generator part is pending with an insurance claim filed (possible $10,000 deductible), AT&T equipment upgrades on the Wall St tower are under review, and storm grate work is needed on Steamboat Ave at 219. Commissioners approved a motion (2-0) to TV (inspect) sewer lines along Del Rhodes Ave to check for cracked lines; Planning Commission conditionally approved Wheatlands Phase 1 and 2 plats (Phase 1 includes 109 residences) pending an approved PWA. Finance reported town balances as listed in the minutes (General Fund 5146,748.60; W/S Fund $67,737.00; ARPA Fund $591,937.64; CDs: General $703,596.50, Water/Sewer $266,697.58), an expected 8% rise in insurance premiums for FY2026, and a $163,000 QAC tax set-off payment to the town. Other items: a $6,251 reimbursement letter sent for grease damage on Steamboat Ave, an inquiry from a ham radio group about placing equipment on the town water tower, approval of March 26 meeting minutes, and planning for FY2026 events following a successful Easter Egg Hunt.
