The Queenstown Commissioners held a 3:00 p.m. work session on June 18, 2024 to review outstanding items in the draft Developers Rights and Responsibilities Agreement (DRRA) for the Wheatlands development. Two issues were addressed: sewer capacity allocation (the Town agreed to allocate 50 EDUs as of the DRRA effective date, an additional 100 EDUs after the Town Water System Upgrade is completed—anticipated within 3 years—and the remaining 117 EDUs within 4 years) and a proposed trailer lot (Commissioners want a stipulation allowing conversion after 10 years if not needed, but the developer representative, Mr. Waterman, opposed changing the amenity now and said the issue could be revisited when the remaining 15 acres are ready to develop). Town Attorney Lyndsey Ryan will revise the DRRA for possible adoption at the July 10, 2024 meeting; Lane Cole recommended confirming the WWTP entrance manhole can handle the added flow. The board entered a closed session for legal advice from 3:29–3:35 p.m. and adjourned the work session at 3:35 p.m.
