The Queenstown Town Commissioners met April 24, 2024, beginning with a 5:30 p.m. closed session to obtain legal advice related to town infrastructure, followed by a public hearing and regular meeting. The public hearing covered Ordinance No. 24-02 to establish zoning rules for cannabis businesses; a resident requested a zoning map and the town attorney clarified that 'consumption' does not include topical products, and a map will be prepared after adoption. Public works noted an out-of-service effluent totalizer (to be repaired), hydrant flushing scheduled, and Comcast agreed to reimburse 50% ($2,850) for a lateral repair while it investigates lines; the town will perform smoke testing.
