Town Commissioners — 2023-07-11

This is the July 11, 2023 Queenstown Commissioners meeting record. Commissioners accepted Apex Grading & Landscaping’s low quote to clean the R&D storm ditch and recommended adding rip rap for erosion control (Apex estimate $3,150 plus ~ $1,500 for rip rap; vote 2–0), asked Public Works to inspect low storm grates on Steamboat and First Avenues, and directed staff to lock a town blow-off valve that a resident had been using without a meter (resident advised to install a spigot after the meter box). Other items: Town will develop a permit process for trapping/relocating squirrels, an Eagle Scout life-ring dock project is proceeding with potential leftover funds to be donated to the troop if the scout agrees, and staff will work on draft franchise agreements.
