This is the Queenstown Commissioners regular meeting on July 12, 2022. A Kubota representative presented an alternative fixed membrane system for the Wastewater Treatment Plant (approx. $300,000 for membranes; $200–300K retrofit/installation; 10-year warranty; quarterly cleaning). Public Works updates included new chlorine tanks being prepared, a new swale on Charity Lane, and basketball court paving; consultant visits and plant modifications have been made to reduce membrane damage risk and Rauch/Frigon are awaiting cost estimates to meet Mann + Hummel conditions. Planning items: a Corridor Management Plan along US 301/US 50 is being drafted and a zoning text amendment to allow barbershops as a Type II home occupation is under review.
