This record is the Queenstown Commissioners meeting and closed session held April 27, 2022. The Commissioners met in closed session at 5:01 p.m. to discuss contract and legal matters and returned to open session at 6:13 p.m. Actions taken in open session included approving the purchase of a new wastewater blower (motion passed 3-0, contingent on confirmation that delivery and installation are included), entering a 48-month electric supply agreement with Freepoint at $0.0548/kWh (motion passed 3-0), and entering an MOU with Maryland DHS to accept up to $2,000 per eligible household for past-due water/sewer bills (attorney added an indemnity clause; motion passed 3-0). The Commissioners accepted minutes for March 24 (3-0), April 7 (2-0 with one abstention), and April 12 (2-0 with one abstention).
