This record is the agenda and minutes for the Queenstown Commissioners meeting on June 23, 2021. At the 6:00 PM public hearing the Commission adopted Ordinance 21-02 to adopt the 2021 International Property Maintenance Code (noting the town change raising allowable grass height from 6" to 8"), with a recorded vote of 2-0. Town Engineer Bob Rauch reported the dredging bid package is complete and ready to advertise, dock repairs and foam-injection work are nearly ready for bidding, the boat ramp bid package is being finalized with the town buying smaller concrete panels directly, and a sewer-capacity report (showing enough capacity for the golf course and Wheatlands) will be finalized for the 6/30/21 meeting. Representatives of the Touchstones Discussion Project described a free summer program for grades 2–5 and 6–8 (three weekly sessions, art instruction with an $80 fee and four art scholarships) and the town offered use of the upstairs meeting room for limited classes. Public Works reported the WWTP air-conditioning failure caused heat damage and related electrical and plumbing work is being addressed; water towers were found running overnight and were shut off after being left in manual. The Harbormaster is reviewing slip assignments and the waiting list and will remind renters of the four-month-in-slip requirement; several prior meeting minutes and a resident request to use a town lot for a celebration of life were approved (votes recorded 2-0).
