These are the minutes and agenda for the Queenstown Commissioners regular meeting on February 24, 2021, held remotely due to COVID-19. Key operational updates included police statistics and a request to place the speed trailer at the MD 18 entrance after radar assignments showed fewer citations and warnings; public works reports that the wastewater treatment plant membranes need a recovery cleaning soon, an old, disconnected water line was found under Main Street and was blocked with flowable fill, a quoted cleanup/erosion-control job for the Dudley field stormwater ditch is about $5,500, and an electrical issue with a WWTP pump is being addressed. Manager actions included negotiating an $850/month AT&T tower rent increase, approving replacement of the town office gutters with K-style gutters with a cost cap of $800, and scheduling a Feb. 26 (1:00 p.m.) work session on boat slip/ramp fees; Resolution 20-107 (boat ramp permit fee) was tabled pending that work session, and DNR review is needed before bidding town dock projects.
