These are the agenda and minutes for the Queenstown Town Commissioners meeting on October 23, 2019. Commissioners met in a closed session to discuss possible property acquisition related to town water infrastructure, then held public hearings on Ordinance 19-05 (allowing mixed-use development to include single-family residences and limiting residential percentage in the PRC zone) and Resolution 19-104 (amending the 2017 Comprehensive Plan for future development of the Wheatland Farm); the Planning Commission unanimously recommended both, the County and State raised no objections, there was no public comment, and the hearings were closed. The meeting included guest requests (a Boy Scout offering to help with landscaping) and the formal announcement that the Queenstown Public Works Facility will be dedicated in the name of E. Lane Cole with a ceremony on November 2, 2019. Public Works actions included approving bidding for Wall Street infrastructure work, authorizing up to $5,000 additional expense for a dump truck body, scheduling ditch work at Royal Farms/Route 301, and approving tree removal and sidewalk/driveway repairs at Queenstown Village contingent on attorney-prepared agreements; Planning reported work on revising building-permit time limits (discussion in the record is truncated).
