The meeting opens with a closed session at 5:01 p.m. to obtain legal advice and discuss potential property acquisition. At 6:00 p.m. there is a public hearing on Ordinance 19-03 to raise monthly water and sewer usage rates by 5% per year for three fiscal years starting July 1, 2019 and ending July 1, 2022. At 6:30 p.m. there is a public hearing on Ordinance 19-02 to adopt the Town’s general budget for the 2019–2020 fiscal year, set a tax rate of 0.1744 per $100 of assessed real property and 0.44 per $100 on commercial/business personal property and public utilities, and adopt an enterprise budget for water and sewer operations.
