This notice announces a Queenstown Commissioners special meeting on May 29, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. to introduce two ordinances and to meet in closed session with the Town Attorney to obtain legal advice and discuss potential acquisition of property. Ordinance 19-02 would adopt the Town’s general budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2019–June 30, 2020, set a real property tax rate of 0.1744 per $100 and a commercial/business/personal property and public utilities tax rate of 0.44 per $100, and adopt an enterprise budget for the Town’s water and sewer operations. Ordinance 19-03 would increase the monthly water usage rate and sewer usage rate by 5% per year for three fiscal years commencing July 1, 2019; both ordinances are scheduled for introduction only and, if introduced, a public hearing will be held on June 12, 2019.
