This is a revised notice for a Special Meeting and Public Hearing of the Queenstown Commissioners on June 5, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the Queenstown Town Office. The main item is a Public Hearing on Proposed Ordinance 18-02 to adopt the Town’s general budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2018–June 30, 2019, set a real property tax rate of 0.1726 per $100 and a commercial/business personal property and public utilities tax rate of 0.44 per $100, and adopt an enterprise budget for the Town’s water and sewer operations. The agenda also introduces Proposed Ordinance 18-03 to authorize purchase of a strip of land from Shore Christian Fellowship to reconfigure the property line between the Town property on Old Wharf Lane and the adjacent property at 7401 Main Street, and to authorize the Commissioners’ President to execute necessary deeds and plats.
