Town Commissioners — 2018-02-28

The Queenstown Commissioners met on February 28, 2018, beginning with a 6:45 p.m. closed session to discuss personnel and reconvening the regular meeting at 7:04 p.m. Public comments included Marjorie Lantz and B.J. Lynch raising long-standing complaints about trucks idling and noise at the Royal Farms site; town staff reported Royal Farms can take complaints via their Helpdesk and contact the Sheriff's Department. Pastor Tom Chandler of Shore Christian Fellowship presented a new park-land proposal offering a 30 ft. x 283 ft. parcel to the Town for $4,000 plus the Town covering transfer fees and installation costs for culvert, fencing, and signage, with work requested by June 30, 2018; Commissioners will review the proposal and visit the site.
