Town Commissioners — 2018-01-16

This is the special meeting record of the Queenstown Commissioners held January 16, 2018, called to order at 10:00 a.m. The board (President Thomas B. Willis, Jr.; Commissioners Holger Schuster and Hardee; Town Manager/Clerk-Treasurer Amy Moore) convened a closed session at 10:01 a.m. to discuss personnel and real estate matters and ended the closed session at 10:43 a.m. The commissioners, joined on site by former Public Works Director Lane cole, inspected the town lot on Charity Lane and the adjacent Wooters property (next to the town’s wastewater treatment plant) which was for sale, then voted 3-0 not to pursue purchase. They also voted 3-0 to change employee "chds Ritch"’s job title to Public Works Foreman, with any pay increase to be determined later and a new job description to be drafted; the special meeting adjourned at 11:32 a.m.
