Public comment included presentation of a 124-signature petition opposing dispensaries, several residents expressing concerns about crime and community fit, supporters including Dr. Peter Robertson and Ashley Herr (of Hippocratic Growth) who noted the State application is available at the Town Office, and Planning Commission Chair Al Hardee who said he changed his mind after reading the application; written comments were accepted until the next meeting on September 13, 2017. The hearing was adjourned at 8:10 p.m.; Commissioners Willis, Schuster, and Plumbo, Town Attorney Brynja Booth, Town Clerk Amy Moore, and Town Planner Peter Johnston were present.
