Town Commissioners — 2016-05-25

This is the May 25, 2016 meeting agenda for the Queenstown Town Commissioners. A 6:30 p.m. work session will review correspondence and bills, followed by the 7:00 p.m. regular meeting with open discussion, attorney updates, and committee updates from Public Works, Planning, and the Finance Committee. Clerk items include the treasurer/finance report, minutes, correspondence, and review of old business; the ongoing Wastewater Treatment Plant matter remains on the list. New business is the introduction of Proposed Ordinance #16-02 to adopt the Town’s general budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2016–June 30, 2017 (including a real property tax rate of 0.181 per $100 and a commercial/business personal property and public utilities tax rate of 0.46 per $100) and to adopt the water and sewer enterprise budget; a closed session may be held only if authorized and voted in open session.
