This record is the Queenstown Commissioners regular meeting on March 25, 2026. Representatives of Waterman Family Limited Partnership and Richmond American Homes proposed that Waterman/RAH pay to complete offsite water improvements that solely benefit their Wheatlands project (including new mains under US 50) and asked the town to waive water/sewer allocation and impact fees in exchange; the proposal lists total project costs of 54.2 million and water/sewer allocation and impact fees totaling $3.9 million. Commissioners requested a work session to review the Rauch rate study before any agreement and scheduled that work session for 3/27 at 2:00 pm. Lindsay Simpson Getty reported on 250th anniversary events including a fundraising gala at Bowlingly on 5/9 and a courthouse condition survey listed at 52,500.00; a motion related to the courthouse passed 3-0. The commission adopted Resolution 26-101 to adopt an investment policy (vote 3-0), received public works updates (plant running well, I&I main line installed, specs/ditch/riprap work approved for Rauch, plant laptop ordered, security under review), noted fund balances (General Fund $150,327.58; WS Fund $13,978.05; ARPA Fund $184,118.19), approved the March 11 minutes, and adjourned at 7:53 pm.
