Planning Commission — 2025-12-03

The Planning Commission met December 3, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. Present were Geneva Thrasher-Rieu, Sue Donatdson, Mike Bowe, Town Manager Amy Moore, Town Planner Peter Johnston, and Matt Reno (via Zoom). Guests Steve and Linda Roberson presented a concept plan to demolish and rebuild an office and house on Steamboat Ave; the Commission identified needed adjustments to the building size and front setback, noted the accessory building in the current plans exceeds the allowed amount (record reads '400lo' of parcel), and Matt Reno offered alternatives; the Robersons also reported the existing house is sinking and sitting on piers. There was no public comment. Town Manager updates reported the Old Wharf to sewer main project is ongoing, new membranes were installed at the sewer plant the week of Thanksgiving, and upcoming town events: tree lighting on December 6 (5:00 p.m.) and the Town Christmas Party on December 11. The November 5, 2025 minutes were approved (motion by Mike Bowell, second by Sue Donaldson) and the meeting adjourned at 6:18 p.m.
