Planning Commission — 2021-04-07

This record is the April 7, 2021 Queenstown Planning Commission meeting held remotely with commissioners Geneva Rieu, Peter Johnston, Mike Bowell, Aaron Horney, Paul Cain, and Matt Reno; there were no guests or public comments. Town manager updates included changes to the boat slip rental agreement and Harbor Master duties, receipt of a dredging permit and DNR approval for dock improvements, a $25 boat ramp fee passed by the commissioners, approval and submission of the annual report to the Department of Planning, plans to adopt new building codes, and that the town is sending letters for property/lawn maintenance violations. Old business: Matt and Peter will review comments to finalize the Trails Master Plan draft; the Wheatland’s (Waterman Family LP) master plan amendment has been approved and a subdivision is expected by fall while contributions for a water tower are still sought; Sorenson’s stormwater work at 112 Charity Lane is complete; boat landing and parking improvements will be done with town-purchased supplies (no public bid), millings moved to the ramp lot, and eight people donated for traffic stops; there was no update on the Community Parks and Playground grant. New business: Zoning Ordinance and Critical Area amendments will be reviewed at the next meeting (no planning commission public hearing required, commissioners will need one), and the Dudley subdivision was conditionally approved pending Critical Area review with Peter assigned to research that issue. The March 3, 2021 minutes were accepted and the meeting adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
