Planning Commission — 2021-01-20

This special remote meeting of the Queenstown Planning Commission on January 20, 2021 was held to conduct closed‑session interviews to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of Loretta Holman. Three residents had expressed interest (Susanne DeVito, Peter Wierenga, and Geneva Rieu), but Susanne DeVito withdrew before the interviews. After individual interviews, the Commission voted unanimously to recommend Geneva Rieu to fill the vacancy and will forward her resume to the Town Commissioners for final consideration. The board also agreed that Matt, Paul, and Mike will rotate posting the minutes (the President is excused from that duty) and that the new member will be given time to get up to speed before taking on additional functions; the meeting adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
