Planning Commission — 2018-01-03

The January 3, 2018 Planning Commission meeting was called to order but no quorum was present, so the Commission discussed items but took no official actions. The Commission discussed a broker inquiry about subdividing the rear of the Wooter property; Town Planner Peter Johnston noted the rear portion would lack public access but suggested a lot line revision to merge it with the Wastewater Treatment lot for access and possible uses (storage or parking), and said he would contact Bob Rauch about funding. Election of officers and approval of minutes could not occur due to the lack of quorum. In public comment Pat Bowell asked whether Salt Box Cove lots on septic would be annexed and required to connect to Queenstown sewer; Peter Johnston explained how Growth Allocation is applied. The Town Manager reported that White Marsh has taken over operation and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant, the Town Commissioners adopted the Comprehensive Plan, and Ordinance 17-07 on short-term rentals was approved; the meeting adjourned at 7:51 p.m.
