Planning Commission — 2017-08-02

Minutes of the Queenstown Planning Commission meeting on August 2, 2017. Commissioners (Al Hardee, Matt Reno, Phil Snyder, Betty White) and guests including Town Planner Peter Johnston, Commissioner George Plumbo, Lex Birney, Ashley Herr and Paige Colen attended. Ashley Herr and Paige Colen of Hippocratic Growth Organic Farmacy presented a plan for a medical cannabis dispensary at the Tidewater properties building, but the commission determined the application was submitted too late to meet the requirement to be operating by December 9, 2017 and could not be approved in time. Lex Birney presented four site-plan scenarios for Queenstown Harbor growth allocation and will return with a formal site plan request after discussion. Commissioner Plumbo reported the town is waiting to hear from the USDA on grant versus funded amounts for water tower painting; there were no updates on pending requests and permits, the prior meeting minutes (July 7, 2017) were approved, and the meeting adjourned at 9:05 p.m.
