Planning Commission — 2017-06-07

The Queenstown Planning Commission met June 7, 2017 with members Al Hardee, Matt Reno, Phil Snyder, and Betty White; Town Planner Peter Johnston, Commissioners Hogie Schuster and George Plumbo, and guests Mike and Pat Bowell and John Fitzgerald attended. The Commission voted unanimously to forward the final Draft Community Plan (version May 9, 2017) to the Town Commissioners with a recommendation for approval, approved the April 13 and May 3 minutes, and noted the 2016 Annual Report has been prepared and signed. They decided to hold a Planning Commission workshop on medical cannabis (growing, processing, dispensing, recreational use) on June 20, 2017 and instructed the clerk to post notice. Chair Al Hardee will request a meeting with representatives of the Brick Companies to discuss any plans for further development of Queenstown Harbor Golf and to offer the Town’s assistance. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. and adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
