Planning Commission — 2017-01-04

The Queenstown Planning Commission met January 4, 2017. Attendees included new member Willie Comegys, Chair Al Hardee, Vice Chair Matt Reno, Secretary Betty White, Phil Snyder, Town Planner Peter Johnston, Town Commissioner George Plumbo, Town Manager Mike Bowell, and guests John and Eugenie Fitzgerald. The Commission reviewed a summary of Critical Area Growth Allocation prepared by Peter Johnston and discussed asking pending allocation recipients for contributions that would benefit the town, but took no official action; George Plumbo reported the water treatment plant is nearly complete and the town obtained an additional loan to finish a new maintenance building. Johnston said he revised the Community Plan per state suggestions and will have a revised document for the Commission to review in February so the hearing process can begin; the permit for 500 Del Rhodes Café and Bakery is pending receipt of preliminary plans. The minutes of December 7, 2016 were approved and the current slate of officers was retained: Chair Al Hardee, Vice Chair Matt Reno, Secretary Betty White.
