Planning Commission — 2016-12-07

On December 7, 2016 the Queenstown Planning Commission met and recognized outgoing commissioner Don Regenhardt with a resolution and plaque; Regenhardt gave a farewell overview. Karen Foreman presented a proposal to open a café and bakery at 500 Del Rhodes and was advised to return when she has a site plan and specific proposed uses. Peter Johnston distributed the MDE response to the proposed Community Plan update for commissioner review (the CAC response was still pending); county comments will be forwarded when received. The Commission received the remaining items for the Queenstown Harbor Golf Course site plan and the chairman will be able to execute the site plan document. The minutes of November 3, 2016 were approved, William Comegys was appointed to fill a vacant Planning Commission seat (the Commission will request a formal invitation from the Town Commissioners), and Al Hardee was appointed Chairman effective immediately (Mr. Reno agreed to be Acting Chairman until the official officer election in January 2017). The meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
