Planning Commission — 2016-11-03

The Planning Commission met on November 3, 2016 with members Al Hardee (chair), Matt Reno, Phil Snyder and Betty White; guests included Town Planner Peter Johnston and Commissioner Mike Bowell. The commission unanimously approved the Queenstown Harbor Golf Cottages and Events Barn final site plan as submitted, contingent on the Town receiving approved Stormwater Management and Sediment and Erosion Control Plans and a Certificate of Approval signed by the Planning Commission chairman. Commissioner Bowell reported the Town is pursuing grants for a proposed Town Waterfront Park and for water tower renovations, and that the Dudley Avenue closing will be discussed by the Commissioners at their November 9 meeting. The Draft Community Plan update was forwarded to County agencies for review (after prior submission to the CAC, which returned no comments); the County has 30 days to comment before a public hearing can be scheduled. The Brian Weese signage plan had no updates, and the October 5, 2016 Planning Commission minutes were tabled for lack of quorum; the meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
