Planning Commission — 2016-06-01

These are the minutes of the Queenstown Planning Commission meeting on June 1, 2016. Visitors included representatives of Queenstown Harbor Golf Resort, who said their site plan is delayed to the next meeting, and a representative for Majid Hussin who described plans for one diesel and two gas pumps with limited service (oil changes and tire repair); the Commission said a Site Plan showing access, parking, and layout is required and that Mr. Hussin will attend the next meeting. Jenny Walton asked about obtaining a zoning certificate for 130 Old Wharf Lane and was told the location must be staked and neighbors notified. Commissioners reported the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) will likely be accepted by the Town in about 30 days, that the FY2017 budget is being worked on, and that a potential waterfront grant (to be considered by Public Works in June) would require public access. The Commission unanimously adopted Resolution PC 16-001 (including Ed Modell’s May 31 email in the record), scheduled a Community Plan working session for June 7, confirmed the annual report on town letterhead, and approved minutes for May 23, May 4, and April 6.
