Planning Commission — 2016-04-06

The Queenstown Planning Commission met April 6, 2016. Commissioners Phil Snyder, Al Hardee and Don Regenhardt were present along with Town Planner Peter Johnston, Commissioner George Plumbo and several guests. Commissioner Plumbo reported the new Wastewater Treatment Plant is operating (processing ~70,000 gallons/day), demolition of the old plant is nearly complete, and the new design requires installation of a “reservoir”; he also noted the Dudley family is contemplating annexing one or more properties. The Commission scheduled the Community Plan Update public hearing for April 25 (7:00 PM at the Queenstown Methodist Church), deferred action on the Wheatland Farm information package to May and supported a site visit, and agreed to raise regional transportation planning with the State Highway Administration at the SHA “Road Show.” The Commission approved a motion to post a 14‑day notice for the revised Cohee duplex plans at Main and Charity and defer action until after that period; no pending permits were considered and approval of March 2 minutes was deferred. The meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
