Two projects were scheduled for first STAC review: Merrick Farms – Byler Materials Phase V seeks concept plan approval and a favorable recommendation to the Board of Appeals for a 215.555-acre expansion of an existing major extraction operation at 2251 Goldsboro Rd (Planner: Steve Johnson; Agent: Lane Engineering); and a Dunkin Donuts proposal at 100 Olde Point Village requests minor site plan approval to administratively combine three parcels and construct a 1,507 sqft drive‑thru/pick‑up location (Planner: Steve Johnson; Agent: DMS & Associates). Both site plans were originally submitted January 5, 2026.
