WORK SESSION CALLED TO ORDER AT 6:30 P.M. – Met with Tom Chandler,
representative of Shore Christian Fellowship, regarding the land issue and problems Town has
been having at the park. Town has a water line on their property, as well as a portion of our
playground area. Town would like to purchase a 20 ft. strip of property to clean up the
infraction. Also, look at putting up camera and/or a solar light and pole to deter after hours
activitiy. Mr. Chandler will report to the church elders and then someone will get back with us.

PUBLIC WORKS:
Mr. Lane Cole advised:
• Ball field being used by 9 yr. old team for practice on Thursdays from 5:30 until dark.
• Equipment for playground equipment repairs total $440.89. Approval given to order and
make repairs.
• SHA planning on repaving Rt. 18 after July 1st. Will also redo the crosswalks.
• Grading at plant is scheduled for next week.
• Waiting on SHA to do ditch work
• Bids are scheduled to go out on April 6, 2016 for the new office/building at wastewater
treatment plant.

FINANCE COMMITTEE:
Patricia Bowell reported:
• Submitted report for tax differential/set off to County Commissioners. Meeting is on
March 22, 2016 at County. County budget not finalized yet and they are going to
schedule one on one meetings with the towns. We don’t know how much they will
allocate yet.
• Banner City application – we’ve met all criteria and application is being completed and
will be submitted to MML.
• Commissioner Bowell mentioned he would like to see included in the upcoming budget:
o Inspection of unsafe properties (Fenyo and Old Wharf Lane/barn properties)
o Revamp structure of town office. Would like to see outline in place by 4/30/16.
Would like to schedule work session to begin discussions.

President Willis motioned to accept the March 9, 2016 minutes as written. Motion seconded by
Commissioner Bowell. Vote: 3-aye, 0-nay
FINANCE REPORT:
General fund checking $261,095.83
Water/Sewer fund checking $478,691.66
WWTP fund checking $187,401.29
Commissioners approved moving money from water and sewer into CD’s. Town Clerk and
Finance Chairman Patricia Bowell will determine the amount.
CLERK:
• Discussion on disconnect of delinquent water and sewer users. We will look into our
existing ordinance and discuss with attorney.
There being no further business at this time, Commissioner Bowell motioned to adjourn the
meeting at 7:40 p.m. Motion seconded by Commissioner Plumbo 3-aye, 0-nay
