PUBLIC WORKS

o Still waiting on delivery date of membranes. Orders for ancillary parts released and fabrication of guide plates begun. Ifall is delivered to them on time, town should receive everything by November

o Poleilights to be erected at boat ramp this Friday. Cameras to be installed upon completion.

. Town-wide hydrant flushing scheduled for 1l/20. Rain date of 1ll2l.

o Outlets General Manager request if tower can tre taken care of as have spent much time/money in upgrades to property. Can not contribute to cost of cleaning tower- their contractor provided a cost of $24.720 to clean it. No concern to quality of water- just cosmetic concems noted. Previous offer by town to share costs to clean tower with Outlets was declined a few years ago. Tower cleaning is currently under contract with Utility Tank- cannot use another contractor to clean between contract

services. Currently a few years out for service but will check for price to clean now instead of waiting.

Will update when hear back from Utility Tank.

Tree work planned in various areas of town including trimming oaks/cedar tree at the Town Office, trimming trees at the courthouse, removing dead trees in areas of 136 Aker and I l9 Wick. Total proposal for all work- $2,800.00.

TOWN MANAGER UPDATES

Legislation passed earlier this year allowing speed limits on state highways within town limits to be set under 25 mph. Does town want to reduce limit? Need to go through SLIA. Commissioners to consider- need to be sure new limits can be enforced- will look into.

o Request for 2 rvater/sewer EDUs for 691 5 Main Street (cunently has I existing). Owner plans Io demo house and erect aduplex with an ADU in rear. Also requesting I EDU for 7108 Second Ave. (cunently

December meeting schedule/holiday pamy schedule? December meeting scheduled for December 17 at 6pm. Holiday party scheduled for December I I at 6pm.

INFRASTRUCTURf, l. I & I Project Contractor beginning dewatering process. Project on schedule but will veriry with contractor regarding timelines and update residents regarding any schedule changes or delays if needed. Will verifo how trash/recycle service will be handled as well.

Queenstown Harbor Water Issues Brian Fitzgerald/Greg Smith met on site. Agreed that hydrant flushing only outlets section won't provide enough time between town-wide flushing scheduled tbr ll/20 to know if water quality complaints stopped because of outlets only flushing or town wide flushing. Will wait until town wide flushing with outlets section and shut offvalves at Main/Harbor intersection and observe water coming

out of line and measure flow rates.

Wheatland's Project Public Works agreement with Richmond American drafted by Ms. Ryan contemplating palment structure for the water improvement project. Have sent to Waterman- forwarded to Richmond American. Waiting for any feedback at this time. Also waiting on any response from USDA however not likely due to the current govemment shutdown.

NEW BUSINESS

L Long Term Rentals - Discussion on Possible Legislation Ordinance 17-05 introduced/public hearing held in 2017 but never passed. Ordinance would be way to authorize regulation of rental properties via application/license process. Commissioners to review old proposed ordinance. and discuss what issues and goals for regulation are. Can discuss more at next meeting.

. Leslie Watzin - Will residents receive notice of Old Wharf Lane sewer line worUtimeline/schedules/etc.? Yes, town. along with contractors, will be sending out notices to affected residents and keeping them informed of all updates regarding the project.

o Sue Donaldson - Has the town received a response from the QVFD regarding the town's communication about fire alarm concerns yet? No. the town has not received a response yet.
