REGULAR MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 4:OO PM
GUESTS Gary Nusinov, Judith Davis, Thomas Klassin of Floriat, LLC. - RE: Zoning
Inquiry/Cannabis Business

Mr. Nusinov discussed the cannabis business they wish to establish on the Dudley
property located off Cherry Lane, which would include growing 'operations in a
greenhouse and future outdoor growing. Would like decision from Town regarding
zoning of the property to come quickly as they are under certain deadlines relating to
their State license. Current county zoning in place on the property allows the proposed
use and believes current zoning sifuation is result of error of County's/Town's. Believes
Town seeking knowledge from Centreville cannabis facility operator not best as they are
competitors and may not act in best interest of a competing business. Believe they can
offer any knowledge sought by Commissioners. Pres. Hardee stated that they still wish to
seek knowledge related to odor and control methods employed by the Centreville facility
as odor is a top concern for the Commissioners and due to the odor igsue in Centreville
seeming to have recently been improved greatly. Also stated that the re-zoning process
takes time regardless- Town working as fast as possible on coming to a decision. Once
more info has been gained from visiting the Centreville facility, they will be better
prepared to make their decision on how to proceed.
PUBLIC WORKS

Inspection/cleaning of membranes at plant scheduled for 9116 and9ll7.

Complaint received regarding two oak trees in town ROW on Olde Point La. Trees
dropping acorns and leaves on driveway, resulting in owners needing to constantly
clean/maintain driveway. Wants them removed. Cost to remove would be approx. $2,000.
Commissioners state cost to remove not budgeted- have other trees that are
diseased/causing damage that need to be addressed as priority. As these trei:s are healthy
and not causing any damage other than cosmetic issues, agree to allow property owner to
have the trees removed at their cost if they wish to do so. Will inform property owner.

Maryland Ave. ditch- Lane Cole/Comm. Callahan viewed after last meeting. Proceed
with Rauchplans minus culvertpipe at $1,300? Proceed with Old Wharf La. cleaning at
$2,000? Commissioners agree to wait until Comm. Calatran returns to make a decision.

o Peregoy fence- damage from mowers in open spac€ area. How to address?
Commission€rs agree to have damage repaired- contact Peregoy to get details regarding
fence supplier, etc.
o Council of Govemments meeting scheduled for 6:00pm in Town Office as it is
Queenstown's tum to host.

Met with Town's IT service provider regarding cybersecurity measunes- what we have
and what we need. State grant program is available to fund cybersecurity project costs for
municipalities. Meeting again next week to discuss proposal and price for upgrades.

Resident at 6903 Main offering bat box to town as they have bats on property and would
like to place nearby to draw away from residential structures. Suggest placernent in area
away from sbuctures on town WWTP prop€rty. Commissioners agree to take box and
place in suitable location.
