PUBLIC WORKS

o Work completed at R&D ditch. Rip rap installed on side showing erosion. Cost to do other side was $2,500 from Apex Contracting. Rick Davis is happy with work but will contact another o contractor to get quote to complete and may consider offering to pay % of cost.

o Work at stormwater pond at Queenstown Village scheduled for end of week.

Jerry Young concerned with oak tree in Town ROW by his driveway and roots protruding into his driveway. Also noted dead branches in many trees in ihe developmlnt. Will look into both issues and get quotes for trimming.

PLAI\NING COMMISSION (no updates)

SAFETY & SPEEDING TASK FORCE

o Member Teteza Hagerstrom presented ideas for renovation of bump-out area by town office and locations for placement of street furniture. Commissioners will review. Request further information on estimated costs of recommendations.

o Town is applying for Speed Feedback Signs placement permits. Town would install. permission for permanent placement takes up to ayear.Permission fo, temporary placement is faster process.

EVENTS COMMITTEE

o Last concert at park saw roughty 25 people in attendance, of which half were family/friends of o the perforrner. consider whenplanning future concerts.

o First concert which was cancelled could be re-scheduled for September/october if interest.

Idea for clothing swap event brought to events committee- Commissioners agree good idea. will work with resident to coordinate event for August date.

TOWI\ MANAGER UPDATES

' Public works job opening has been posted on Indeed and in the newspaper. Job open thru g/4.

o County has been getting questions about the tree clearing on US 50 by Wheatlands. Informed SHA has been clearing state owned land along 50 for future highway widening.

o Signed/returned fireworks contract for fair- scheduled for 9/8 (rain date of 919).

OLD BUSINESS

INFRASTRUCTURE

1. I&IProject

Rauch putting project out to bid. Town needs to decide how much construction management is wanted- suggests inspector needed for 60 days at $600 per day to be on hand when lines are installed and connections made. Commissioners question the amount of time necessarywill discuss with Rauch at future meeting.

2. New Water Tower & Infrastructure Proiect

Currently waiting for USDA to review the revised ER and PER.

Wall St. Water Line RePlacement New line installed and connections made to individual water meters. Still need to backfill inside water tower property. Coming along nicely'

MARINE PROJECTS

1. Boat RamP ImProvements

Estimate and scope of work for pier provided by Rauch- budget of $30,000 estimated.

Commissioners believe cost is too high- clariff with Rauch.

Town Dock Proiects paving bids received.2 bidders- R.L. Ewine @ $99,949.10 & Pavemaster @ $t01,008..00' Rauch reviewed and recommends Ewing. Approx. $130,000 left of grant money for project'

3. Federal Channel Dredging

Bayland planning to send out survey crew with next week.

POLICY

1. Water/Sewer Connections Code - Proposed Clarifications & Revisions (no updates)

2. Road and Sidewalk Standards

Ms. Moore/Ivls. Ryan to work on. Commissioners wish to incorporate dimensions of village streets into any new standards. will investigate wheatland current eueenstown designs as well.

FranchiseAgreements Both franchise agreements have been revised based on review by Finance chair Pat Bowell, Ms. Moore and Ms. Ryan. o Breezeline franchise agreement will need to have a public hearing scheduled- comcast agreement will not.

Planning Commission will need to begin prooess of updating of zoning ordinance to address re@nt legalization of recreational cannabis- which zones would allow related sales/businesses, etc.
