At a June 3, 2025 work session, Queenstown Commissioners reviewed the draft FY26 budget with town staff and the Finance Committee and voted 3-0 to accept the draft. They introduced Ordinance 25-04 to adopt the general budget for July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026, set tax rates at $0.2312 per $100 for real property, $0.58 per $100 for commercial/business personal property, and $2.50 per $100 for public utilities, and adopt the water and sewer enterprise budget which includes an 8% increase to monthly water and sewer consumption rates (as adopted June 22, 2022). A public hearing on the ordinance is scheduled for June 18, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.; the regular meeting will follow that hearing instead of June 11, and there will be no meeting on June 25 because staff will attend the annual MML conference. The work session opened at 4:02 p.m. and adjourned at 4:39 p.m.; present were President Al Hardee, Commissioners Tom Willis and Bryon Callahan, Town Manager Amy Moore, Town Clerk Aaron Horney, and Finance Chair Pat Bowell.
