REGULAR MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 4:OO PM

o Isaac Wilding, DNR & Chris Rager, Bayland Consultants RE, Review and discuss report on dredgingfederal channel Mr. Wilding & Mr. Rager stated their focus is on dredging the entrance channel of Queenstown Creek as that is the area needing the most attention. Of potential dredge material placement areas, Eastern Neck Island site seems best option- materials tested seem suitable for placernent according to MDE

standards. Next step would be to put a scope of work together and get a proposal from Bayland- can use remaining grant funds available to Town from initial work.

PUBLIC WORKS

o Will need closed session after meeting to discuss plant issue with legal counsel.

o Sewer backup into house at 305 Steamboat. Steve Roberson believes issue caused by roots and grease buildup in main line. Will know more once line is viewed with camera. Resident will have cleaned and Town will cover cost of cleanup. Will possibly remove tree causing root issue as same issue has happened before in same area of line. Will determine any action once .urn..u inspection is completed.

' o Shut-off valves at plant in the parking lot are scheduled to be repaired next week.

Both pumps at Del Rhodes pump station are in bad shape. One worse than the other- being replaced by Freemire. Will repair pump to be replaced and have on standby for backup.

o Comm- Callahan would like to see weekly work logs completed by Public Works employees listing work done/not done during the week. Commissioners agree. Ms. Moore stated she is working on and will meet with PW employees to discuss.

PLAI\NING COMMISSION

' Working on compiling roles and responsibilities into a handout for members based on guidelines in zoning ordinance, land use regulations, and their by-laws. By-laws currently being [viewed for update.

SAFETY & SPEEDING TASK FORCE (no updates)

FINANCE COMMITTEE

' Working on budget- work session scheduled for 5ll4 with Pat Bowell. Will present draft budget to Commissioners at work session on 5/17 at lOam. Public Hearing for budget to be scheduled for 6/12 at 6pm following regular meeting.

TOWN MANAGER UPDATES

' COG meeting tonight at 6:30 in Centreville. Ms. MooreAvlr. Horney will be attending.

Ms. Moore/I4r. Horney recently attended Eagle Scout Ceremony for Caden Quirion in Centreville.

Caden became an Eagle Scout and was recognized for his recent project at the Queenstown Docks among other achievements.

Ms. Ryan currently working on application for Congressional Directed Funding. Should have submitted by end of week. Funding must be allocated by mid-June to avoid BABA requirements. Also sending certified letters tomorrow to last 5 property owners regarding easements.

3. Membrane Clean - Valve Automation

Work ongoing.

Lead Service Line Inventory Project Waiting on final approval from MDE. Rauch has majority of project completed.
