These are the Queenstown Town Commissioners minutes for April 23, 2025. The public hearing on Ordinance 25-03 (amending the Critical Area Overlay District) received no public comment and the ordinance was adopted. Commissioners agreed to allow Kathleen Snyder (purchaser of the 6915 Main St. property) to accept responsibility for installing new failed water/sewer lines; the Town Attorney will draft an agreement requiring lines be installed before further transfer or occupancy and will prepare a purchase agreement for subdivided lots. Public Works reported ongoing WWTP inflow issues, pending video pipe scope/pricing for 4118, culverts on Thompson Ave. in poor shape, and a Messick Lane/R&D storm drain replacement quote of $20,250 with the Town seeking additional quotes. The New Water Tower & Infrastructure Project closed interim financing (first draw $240,782.42), Rauch provided an updated budget showing an anticipated $1.9 million increase and a new total project estimate of $5.9 million, and the project was approved to go out to bid. Other items: Queenstown Harbor water samples were within limits, Bayland Consultants proposed an $18,000 design task for breakwater modification tied to federal channel dredging (grant can be modified to cover it), Road & Sidewalk Standards will reference ADA compliance, Royal Farms trash issues have improved, and routine finance and minutes approvals were completed.
