QUEENSTOWTI COMMTSSTONERS
March 11,2026 PRESENT: President Al Hardee, Commissioners Bryon Callahan & Jim Watzin, Town Manager Amy Moore, Town Clerk Aaron Homey, Town Assistant Attorney Jen Dindinger
REGULAR MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 4:OOPM
PUBLIC WORKS
o Plant running well. Permeability up to ll-12. Operator will run belt press when he has room. Then can de-cant and start using polymer that MMBR sent.
o PW Foreman Bryan Miller will make list of equipment town needs and prioritize. Feels tractor replacement is most important at this time.
PLANNING COMMISSION
o March meeting cancelled due to lack of business. Next meeting scheduled for April 1.
FINANCE COMMITTEE (no updates)
CODE ENFORCEMENT/HARBORMASTER
o Citations issued for untagged vehicle violations. Notice letters for other violations sent out.
EVENTS COMMITTEE
o Easter Egg Hunt scheduled at the park for March 28 at llam.

Reading of Dec. of Independence on July 8. Possible Town Crier to do reading. Possibly food trucks, music, etc.

May 9 - garden party at Bowlingly Sponsorship by Bank and Golf Course. Ticketed event to raise money for courthouse restoration work. Plan to have period type foods.

Planting of a liberty tree for a local organization.

Colonial fair/market - may do in fall if can find volunteers to assist.

DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

Wheatland's Project Waterman/RAH suggested meeting to discuss developing an agreement with the town.
Town Attorney Lyndsey Ryan suggested they draft a document for what they are proposing to do and submit to the Town for consideration. Waiting for a response.

PUBLIC COMMENT
o Di Quynn-Reno - Resident Asked what the Colonial Fair was discussed earlier? Ms. Moore clarified it is a vendor's fair with colonial themed food and period clothing.
o Matt Ball - Resident Expressed appreciation for the fire company instituting siren quiet hours. Asked if possible to lower the decibel of the siren for other hours or moving the sirens to higher angle to reduce sound towards his house. Comm. Callahan explained due to the design of the siren it is not possible to adjust the angle or reduce the decibel of the siren.
There being no further business, Callahan motion to adjourn the meeting at 4:32pm. Watzin second. VOTE: 3 ave - 0 nav.
