o Christina Palmer - 104 Charity Lane - RE: Traffic concerns Ms. Palmer discussed concerns regarding speeding in town in light of the recent vehicle accident at the Town Office. Suggested speed shelves be placed on Main Street in the Town Center area to curb speeding. Commissioners stated that they are unable to as SHA does not allow speed bumps or similar devices to be placed on State highways such as Main St. Commissioners ag.ee
speeding is an issue, will plan a meeting with SIIA and QAC Sheriffs Offrce to discuss concerns and possible solutions.
PUBLIC WORKS
o Work scheduled to begin on compactor at plant on March 14.
o MD Rural Water to conduct energy audit in April. Purpose of audit is to assist water/wastewater utilities in evaluating energy needs/costs/etc. and recommend measures to reduce energJi consumption and identiff funding sources for improvements.
o Adjuster inspected Town Office damage- waiting on final report. Can now clean up and obtain estimates to repair. Commissioners agree to each inspect area to help determine if only want to repair areas covered by insurance or have entire porch area redone wh-n repairs are made.

o Fee lbr Mosquito Control program increasing from $3,150 to$4,725 forthis year. Commissioners agree Town should continue to participate in service for residents o Kit Foster' resident of Queenstown and wife of former Commissioner John Foster, passed away recently. Commissioners agree to make donation of $50.00 to the QAC Mental Health Committee in memory of Ms. Foster in lieu of sending flowers.
OLD BUSINESS
INFRASTRUCTURE
l. I&Iproject General discussion on need to identi$r likely projects for ARpA fund spending including I & I and Wall St. Line Replacement projects. Will discuss further following review of bids due back for Wall St. project. Believe projects should be started sooner rather than later as costs rising. Projects must be identified by 12/2024.

New Water Tower & Infrastructure project General discussion of need to determine how to proceed as work needed on water tower and associated costs may increase if not begun in near future. Prefer Town Engineer focus on this project as priority as time is issue.

Wall St. Water Line Replacement Bids for the project are due by March l0- will be reviewed at that time.
MARINE PROJECTS
1.
Boat Ramp Improvements o Estimated price received for dock work excluding pilings- around $45,000.
o Ryan at Wye River Floating Docs gave prices for floating docs of $6,180 for 6x30 ft and $4,960 for 4x30 ft docks. Would need 2-3 pilings (Big Island previously priced piling installation at around $900 each. Docks could stay in water year-round through freezes.
Commissioners wish to have a representative meet with Ryan at site to discuss potential placement areas/concerns.
