TOWN MANAGER UPDATES

Alarm company investigated issues at Town Office. One panel and one smoke detector
need replacing. Current system is obsolete so replacement parts are limited- looking to find
like replacement parts as any upgrades to system would require all new equipment to meet
current codes. Panel replacement around $65- still looking for smoke detector.
o
Elevator inspection done last week failed due to emergency light and bell not working. Will
need to have repaired and then reinspected.

Last thing needed was final scope of what to include- confirmed by James Cook at
Rauch. Should have final scope and documents over for USDA review early next week.

Still waiting on USACE permit. Once received, we can put out to bid.
POLICY
1. Water/Sewer Connections Code - Proposed Clarifications & Revisions (no updates)

Water/Sewer Rate Study
Rauch can complete the study but needs to confirm how Town plans to implement
additional costs associated with serwice to Wheatlands. Provided several options that can
be incorporated into revised developer's agreement. Commissioners will need to discuss
how they want to proceed. Will inquire with Rauch if they can model a Wheatlands only
w/s rate, new current town only rate, blended rate. Would need to amend DRRA as
current doesn't allow additional costs for Wheatlands users.

Pres. Hardee inquired about notices sent to Commissioners when violation letters are sent
out to residents- used to receive but no longer do. Was due to an oversight. Town Office
staffwill resume providing updates to Commissioners regarding violation letters sent out.
