On June 11, 2021 the Queenstown Commissioners held a special meeting called to order at 11:00 a.m.; present were President Thomas B. Willis, Jr., Commissioners Alton Hardee and Bryon Callahan, Finance Chair Patricia Bowell, Town Clerk Aaron Horney, and Town Manager/Clerk Amy Moore. Staff presented draft FY2022 General Fund and Water/Sewer budgets, noting the tax rate follows the State's Constant Yield rate and that water and sewer rates reflect a 5% increase (the final of three increases established by ordinance 19-03). Commissioners approved a salary increase for employees per the State of Maryland Standard Salary Structure (motion by Commissioner Hardee, seconded by President Willis, vote 3-0), set a special meeting for June 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. to introduce ordinances to adopt the tax rates, water/sewer rate increase, and budgets, and scheduled a public hearing for June 30, 3021 at 6:00 p.m.; the meeting adjourned at 12:44 p.m.

QUEENSTOWN COMMISSTONERS SPECIAL MEETNG June 11,2021 On June ll, 2021 the Commissioners of Queenstown convened a special meeting. President Willis called the meeting to order at I 1:00 a.m. at the Town Office. Persons present were President Thomas B. Willis, Jr., Commissioner Alton Hardee, Commissioner Bryon Callahan, Finance Chair Patricia Bowell, Town Clerk Aaron Horney, and Town Manager/Clerk Amy Moore. Amy Moore, Aaron Horney, and Pat Bowell presented the drafts of the FY2022 General Fund and Water/Sewer budgets. Tax rate reflects the Constant Yield rate established by the State, and the water and sewer rates reflect a 5o/o increase, which is the final increase of three established by ordinance 19-03. Commissioner Hardee motioned to approve a salary increase to employees per the State of Maryland Standard Salary Structure adopted by the Town several years ago. Motion seconded by Commissioner Willis, with all in favor 3-0. Commissioners set a special meeting for June 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.. where they will introduce an ordinance to adopt the tax rates, water/sewer rate increase, and the general and water/sewer fund budgets. Should those ordinances be introduced, a public hearing on June 30, 3021 at 6:00 p.m. There being no further matters to consider, President Willis made a motion to adjoum the meeting at 12:44 pm, which was seconded by Commissioner Callahan, which was unanimously carried.
