QUEENSTOWN COMMISSIONERS

July 16,2020 Special Meeting A special meeting was held viaZoom in the Town Office for the purpose of holding a work session to discuss an application to the Queen Anne's County Commissioners to amend the Queen Anne's County Comprehensive Water and Sewerage Plan on the property known as Wheatlands from S-3/W-3 to S-2/W-2.

President Willis called the special meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.

Participating were President Tom Willis, Commissioner Hogie Schuster, Commissioner Al Hardee, Town Attorney Lyndsey Ryan, and Town Manager/Clerk Amy Moore.

Banf, Waterman has submitted an application to the County Commissioners requesting an amendment from water service priority W-3 to W-2 and from sewer service priority S-3 to S-2.

Their average project demand is 66,750 gpd, per the updated calculations submitted by Bob Rauch.

While water and sewer capacity is not currently available for the full estimated demands of the proposed Wheatlands development, system improvements can be made to meet the demands.

Commissioners discussed having Barry Waterman pay for the I & I repairs to free up sewer for his project. No decision was made on this matter.

President Willis motioned to send a letter of support for the proposed amendment as the Commissioners found that the proposed amendment is consistent with the Queenstown Comp Plan.

Motion seconded by Commissioner Schuster. Vote: 3-aye,0-nay Commissioner Hardee suggested a meeting with the public to discuss concems at the boat ramp.

The meeting would address the health, safety and welfare of the town residents who use the boat ramp and address concerns of certain activities at the rulmp. The meeting was scheduled for July 30,2020 at 6:00 p.m.

There being no further business, President Willis motioned to adjourn the meeting at 4:32 p.m.

Motion seconded by Commissioner Schuster. Vote: 3-aye,O-nay.
