A special Town Commissioners meeting on February 20, 2018 addressed very high flows at the wastewater treatment plant following heavy rains and significant infiltration into the sewer lines. Staff reported the town put out 3,180,000 gallons of water while receiving 4,118,000 gallons of sewer; they plan to clean the membranes again, have ordered manhole bowl inserts from Dover Plumbing, and have contacted Mobile Dredging and Video Pipe to televise lines. The commissioners approved (2-0) televising specific areas as soon as possible (several segments of Del Rhodes Avenue and the Main Street/plant driveway area).
