The Queenstown Commissioners held a special meeting on January 16, 2018 with President Thomas B. Willis, Jr., Commissioners Holger Schuster and Hardee, and Town Manager/Clerk-Treasurer Amy Moore. They entered a closed session at 10:01 a.m. to discuss a personnel issue and a real estate matter, reconvened at 10:43 a.m., and conducted a site visit with former Public Works Director Lane Cole to the town lot on Charity Lane and the adjacent Wooters property by the wastewater treatment plant (which is for sale). After returning to the town office the Commissioners unanimously voted not to pursue purchase of the Wooters property. They also unanimously approved changing employee Ritch’s job title to Public Works Foreman, with any pay increase to be determined later and a new job description to be drafted. The meeting was adjourned at 11:32 a.m.

Special Meeting
PRESENT: President Thomas B. Willis, Jr., Commissioner Holger Schuster, Commissioner
Hardee and Town Manager/Clerk-Treasurer Amy Moore
SPECIAL MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 10:00 a.m.
President willis motioned to close the meeting at 10:01 a.m. for the purpose of discussing a
persorurel issue and a real estate matter. Motion seconded by Commissioner Hardee.
Vote: 3-aye,O-nay
Following the personnel and real estate discussion, President willis motioned to adjoum the
Closed meeting at l0:43 a.m. and reconvene the Special meeting. Motion seconded by
Commissioner Schuster.
Lane cole, former Public works Director, was asked to join the commissioners and rown
Manager at the site of the to&n lot on charity Lane and walk the property to the wooters's
property, which is located adjacent to the town's wastewater fteatment plant, and is cunently for
sale.
After retuming to the Town Office, Commissioner Schuster motioned that the Town not plrsue
the purchase of the Wooters's property, as there is no foreseeable need for the property. ir4otion
seconded by President Willis. Vote: 3-aye, 0-nay
commissioner Schuster motioned to change the job title of employee chds Ritch to public
works Foreman. Any pay increase is to be determined at a later date. Motion seconded by
commissioner Hardee. Vote: 3-aye, O-nay. A new job description will be drafted to encompass
this new title.
There being no further business at this time, commissioner Hardee motioned to adioum the
meeting at I I :32 a.m. Motioned seconded by commissioner Schuster. vote: 3-aie. O-nay.
