Planning Commission Minutes — 2017-02-01

Town of Queenstown Planning Gommission Minutes February 1,2017 A regular meeting of the Queenstown Planning Commission was held on February 1, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Office. Present were Planning Commission members, Willie Comegys, Matt Reno, Phil Snyder, and Betty White. Guests present were Peter Johnston, Town Planner, Hogie Schuster, Town Commissioner, Mike Bowell, Town Manager, Pat Bowell, Finance

Chair, and John and Eugenie Fitzgerald.

Matt Reno, Vice Chairman, brought the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Guests'Time: no guest speakers.

NEW BUSINESS

1.

Town Gommissionerc Updates:

1.{ Mr. Schuster reported that the Town Commissioners had approved the proposed CriticalArea Growth Allocation and have forwarded same to the CriticalArea Commission for review/approval.

OLD BUSINESS

1. Updated Gommunity Plan: Peter Johnston presented Hearing Draft Comprehensive

Plan2017 for Queenstown, Maryland, Version 1118117. He indicated that the MDE comments had been considered and incorporated into this draft. After discussion, only one minor change being suggested, it was determined that the proposed Plan is ready for public hearing. The Chairman will instruct the Town Clerk to publish the required notice of public hearing for April 13, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Office. Mr. Johnston will also prepare a PDF version of the Draft

Plan and summary of proposed changes within the next two weeks for posting on the Town website.

1, The Minutes of the Planning Commission meeting held January 4, 2017 were reviewed and approved.
