Town of Queenstown Planning Gommission Minutes January 4,2017 A regular meeting of the Queenstown Planning Commission was held on January 4,2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Office. Present were Planning Commission members, Willie Comegys (new member), Al Hardee, Matt Reno, Phil Snyder, and Betty White. Guests present were Peter Johnston, Town Planner, George Plumbo, Town Commissioner, Mike Bowell, Town Manager and John and Eugenie Fitzgerald.
Al Hardee, Chairman, brought the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Guests'Time: no guest speakers.
NEW BUSINESS
1.
Town Commissionens Updates:
1.1 George Plumbo opened a discussion of the Critical Area Grovdh Allocation. Peter Johnson had prepared a summary of Queenstown's past, pending and future growth allocation needs. Discussion included asking pending growth allocation recipients for contributions that would benefit the Town. No official ac'tions were taken.
1.2 Mr. Plumbo also reported that the water treatment plant will soon be completed. He indicated the Town got an additional loan to help complete the new maintenance building.
OLD BUSINESS
1. Updated Community Plan: Peter Johnston reported that he has made revisions based on the
suggestions received from the state. The County has not submitted any comments as of this date. He will have the revised Plan document ready for review by the Planning Commission at its February meeting. He also indicated that the hearing process can begin.
2. Town Planning and Infrastructure - no update
3. Pending Requests and Permits
3.1 500 Del Rhodes Caf6 and Bakery. Pending receipt of preliminary plans from Ms. Foreman.
OTHER
1, The Minutes of the Planning Commission meeting held December 7,2016 were reviewed and approveo.
2. Election of Officers: Mr. Snyder moved that the current slate of officers be retained. The motion
was seconded and carried unanimously. The Planning Commission Officers for the calendar yeat 2017 are as follows:
